USB Numpad

Wasn't sure if this should go over to the geek forum, but aw'well.

My USB Numpad is giving up. It is probably over 5 years old. It's a Targus retractable keypad, and the USB connection struggles to keep the connection.

I' wondering for those of you that use one, what Brand/model are you using? I picked up some Brand I didn't know, and window-eyes didn't seem to respond the same with it. Not sure if it was the keypad or the screen reader.

Any thoughts are appreciated. I use the numpad for mouse functions daily. It is easier on my laptop.
